Sixty works displayed, telling Fairey stylistic evolution, as the series made for Venice city, Capitol Hill, the monumental canvas, never exhibited before, which is flanked by works from private collections.
Social issues such as the war, the repression, the propaganda, the racism, the environmental protection and the relationship with music and the icons of our century are the subjects of his works.
Obey aim is to stimulate the viewer to reach his own interpretation and think about the meaning of what he sees: “It’s a constant dialogue with the observer; what I do is to send a stimulus and respond with a new stimulus based on the response I have received.”
